THERAPY IN LAKE NORMAN & ONLINE ACROSS NC
Eating Disorders.
“I feel like I have lost control of my life.”
“I don’t know who I am anymore.”
“I want to feel more comfortable in my body.”
Sound familiar?
I see you.
Starting therapy for an eating disorder can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to go through this alone. When you work with me, you’ll have an advocate who deeply understands the impact these struggles can have on your life. My experience in working with clients in different levels of care treating eating disorders, has given me the tools to support you with care, expertise, and empathy.
Together, we will explore the complex emotions and experiences that often contribute to eating disorders—whether they stem from anxiety, depression, past trauma, family history, or experiences of weight stigma and bullying. Many of these behaviors develop as ways to cope with stress, loss, or major life transitions, and I’m here to help you navigate these challenges in a way that fosters healing rather than harm.
I know that concerns about food, weight, and body image can take up so much space in your life, and I also know that recovery is possible. By working together, we can address both the emotional and physical toll of an eating disorder, taking steps to restore balance in these areas of your overall health. My goal is to provide you with a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to take steps toward healing—at your own pace.
You don’t have to have it all figured out before starting therapy. Just showing up is a courageous step, and I’m here to help you through the rest.
